QuizShelf

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 3, 2026

Email privacy request

1. Scope and operator

This Privacy Policy applies to QuizShelf (the “Service”), including the website and activity tools at quizshelf.pysyntax.com.

The Service is operated by Nodaji Lab. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to pysnytax91@gmail.com. Please include [QuizShelf privacy] in the subject line.

2. Information we process

The Service does not provide accounts, sign-in, payments, or contact forms. Activity titles, questions, answers, images, and presentation state that you enter are processed in your browser and on your device by default.

To deliver and secure the site, Cloudflare may process technical and access information such as IP address, request time, browser details, and requested URL. The Service does not maintain a separate application database for this site.

If you allow analytics, Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 may process page URL, visit time, browser and device details, referral information, page-view events, and approximate location. The Service does not send names, email addresses, or account IDs to Google Analytics.

3. Device storage and activity data

Language preference, temporary activities, and presenter progress may be stored in localStorage, IndexedDB, or sessionStorage. This data is not automatically sent to the Service server and can be removed through browser storage controls or the activity's reset/delete actions.

Your analytics choice is stored on this device under quizshelf.analytics-consent-v1. It records only whether analytics is allowed or denied. You can change it at any time with the Privacy settings control in the footer.

4. Purposes and legal basis

Technical information needed to deliver and secure the Service is processed for page delivery, abuse prevention, error diagnosis, and reliability.

Analytics information is optional and is used to understand visits and improve content and features. Analytics starts only after your explicit choice and can be withdrawn at any time through Privacy settings.

5. Retention and deletion

Activities and preferences stored on your device may remain until you clear browser storage or delete the activity. The Service does not retain activity content in a separate application database.

Cloudflare access/security logs are retained according to the provider's current policies and applicable agreements. The current QuizShelf Google Analytics property is configured for two months of event data and fourteen months of user-level data; aggregated reports may remain longer under Google's policies.

6. Processors and third-party services

Cloudflare, Inc. provides CDN, DNS, hosting, and security services and handles requests to the site. Google LLC provides Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 only after you allow analytics.

The Service does not sell personal information and does not provide it to advertising or data-broker services beyond the providers described above. Their current policies are available here.

7. International transfers

Cloudflare and Google may process information in countries outside your own, including the United States, to provide their services. Transfers occur through site requests or after analytics consent over HTTPS. The purpose is site delivery/security or visit statistics, respectively. Retention and safeguards follow the providers' current policies, agreements, and applicable law.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to processing, and withdraw consent. You can change analytics consent immediately with the Privacy settings control.

For other requests, email pysnytax91@gmail.com with the Service name, your request, and a way to reply. Please include [QuizShelf privacy] in the subject line. Because the Service has no account system or server-side activity store, there may be no activity data for us to retrieve.

9. Children

The Service has no account or direct-input contact form and does not knowingly collect children's names or contact details. Users under 14 should use the Service with a parent or guardian and should not enter names, contact details, or other personal information into activities.

10. Security and changes

The Service uses HTTPS, static hosting, and a consent gate for optional third-party tags as reasonable technical measures. On a shared device, you should clear browser storage and downloaded activity files after use.

We will update this page and its effective date when laws, features, or data flows change.
